Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.
  Asana
Asana is defined in Sage Patanjali's Yoga Sutras as 'that position which is comfortable and steady'. Raja yogis practised asanas to be able to sit comfortably in a meditative posture for an extended period of time. The hatha yogis however, realized that asanas are capable of opening energy channels and psychic centres. They became tools to attain higher awareness, enabling the discovery of the body, breath, mind and subtle states.
Today, asanas are recognized to be practices that cultivate awareness, relaxation, concentration and meditation. An important part of Pandeyji’s teachings is the development and maintenanceof good physical health by stretching pranic channels and internal organs.
Scientific research proves that asanas prevent diseases, support health and have curative abilities. Asanas work not only on just the body but also on the mind. Contrary to popular thought, these are not separate entities. The gross form of the mind is the body and the subtle form of the body is the mind. Practising asanas integrates and harmonises the two.
Pandeyji hand picks asanas according to each person’s need and works with them on a personalized basis to practice and perfect these asanas.
